In the Arms of Mary Foundation publishes books to help answer the deepest yearnings of the human heart. These world renowned books offer the truth--of who we are and who God is. They explain God's unconditional love. They offer a place for us to be known and accepted. They offer a connection with Grace and Spirit. They offer meaning and healing for our personal crises. They offer a way to address suffering and evil. They offer certainty and order. They offer a way to build community and bridge differences. They offer HOPE.

In the Arms of Mary Foundation's mission works to restore the SMILE to the souls of the American people. GOD Alone Suffices introduces the correct image of God; the God of unconditional love, an All-powerful God capable of bringing about a change of heart. In the Arms of Mary reveals the true gift of Mary in today's world and how She can be a pure source of support and virtue in our life. Unlike in the movies where the outcome is predetermined, real life is full of unexpected problems, occasional tragedies and painful disappointments. God alone is all we need and we can be dignified in knowing he loves us unconditionally and is constantly using the events of our life to draw us closer to Jesus.

In his homily directed toward priests on Holy Thursday, April 13, 2006, Holy Father Benedict XVI said, "Activism by itself can even be heroic, but in the end external action is fruitless and loses its effectiveness unless it is born from deep inner communion with Christ. The time we spend on this is truly a time of pastoral activity, authentic pastoral activity. The priest must above all be a man of prayer."

Fr. Tadeusz Dajczer's and S. C. Biela's books offer profound insight to readers who, overwhelmed with the busyness and stress of daily life, experience deserts of loneliness and routine. The authors describe the path toward intimacy with the Divine--the way of spiritual poverty--that leads to deep spiritual hunger and thirst for Christ's loving and redeeming Presence in the Eucharist. Therefore, their books are especially beneficial as spiritual nourishment for those who serve the Church, especially priests, deacons and religious.

In the Arms of Mary Foundation has created a Clergy & Religious Support Fund which helps us provide books for bishops and religious superiors to share with their priests, deacons, seminarians, religious sisters and brothers, as well as missionaries in the U.S. and worldwide. Donations to the "Clergy & Religious Support Fund" go directly to the printing, packaging and mailing of books to priests and religious.

Endorsements and Reviews

From the Clergy:

". . . Your work in translating [GOD Alone Suffices] and making it available to the many English speaking people in the world is a great service to be lauded.

In these days when the world seems so overwhelmed by alienation, the assurance of the Good News that God's unobtrusive presence is real and that this presence must be engaged freely in our lives is refreshing. Poignant, also is its reminder that the authentic journey toward holiness entails letting go of self-centered pursuits and entering the presence of God through free and selfless acts of love."
--Zenon Cardinal Grocholewski
Prefect of the Congregation for Catholic Education

"I have done this in the past and I have no doubts in stating that [S. C. Biela] is one of the most significant and original authors of spiritual topics in our times."
--Cardinal Carles Gordo, Spain

From the laity:

"S.C. Biela offers a simple and yet profound answer to the isolated, self-suffocating world we live in through his book, The Two Pillars. His deep reflection on the virtues of contrition and gratitude, and how they connect one to God's perfect will, is both practical and meaningfully rooted in our Catholic Faith. Clearly, the deadly sin of pride must be continually exposed and excised if we are to more fully embrace and be transformed by God's Truth. As a son, a husband, a father, and a psychologist I can and will apply Biela's insights and would gladly recommend this book to those I care for and work with."
--Dr. Ross Porter
Clinical Psychologist, Author, and Teacher

"The author of this book
GOD Alone Suffices, takes us to the garden of reliance which is our focus on God, where we see through the eyes of God because of our trust in God...."
--Jim Benefield, MspEd, MA, MPC, DAPA
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

"This new book The Two Pillars, by S. C. Biela presents the Truth of discipleship in all its splendor and simplicity. I find myself attracted and challenged to profound poverty of spirit to enter more fully into the embrace of The One True Love. The two pillars are contrition and gratitude that intertwine to dispose my heart for deeper communion with Jesus through Mother Mary. The book is a source of much grace for the interior life. It is an inspired work of wisdom that will enrich the Church.

"I have a M.A. in Christian Spirituality and have read a ton of books on the spiritual life, but I would have to say that
The Gift of Faith by Father Tadeusz Dajczer is in a class all by itself...What you will find in Father Dajczer's book is a revolutionary way of looking at your spiritual life. If you feel stuck, or like you are just aimlessly moving about in your relationship with God, you need this book!"
